Encore Rehabilitation, a leading rehabilitation provider, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work full-time, Sunday-Thursday, in our facility, Parkwood Healthcare Community, located in Bedford, TX.

ENCORE! Rehabilitation Services partners with skilled nursing facilities to provide exceptional physical, occupational and speech therapy services.

Requirements for the Physical Therapist position:

  • Full-time
  • Texas license required
  • Physical Therapy Assistant degree required

Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA

 

Functions under the supervision of the physical therapist. Provides physical therapy services to residents by assisting in the assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, and completing related documentation and communication.
Common programs include: ambulation training, strengthening and conditioning, contracture management, wound care, cardiac rehab, balance training, modalities, orthotics, and back injury protection.
 

Qualifications: 

  1. Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  2. Current state licensure or license-eligible in states where applicable.
  3. Regular attendance.
